Workshop instructor Rhonda PallasDowney 

Rhonda Pallas Downey is the founder of Living Flower Essences and the Center for Plant Studies & Healing Arts.  She has a diploma in Homeopathic Medicine from the British Institute of Homeopathy and a 500-hour certificate in herbalism.  Rhonda is a flower essence practitioner and teaches herbal studies, plant life, and healing journeys in nature.  She the author of two books:The Healing Power of Flowers and Voices of Flowers, and the video A Journey Into Plants and Flowers, which was selected by the 2014 Sedona International Film Festival. She teaches and speaks at various herbal, botanical and healing conferences throughout the U.S.


Retreat Schedule

Friday
3 p.m. – Arrival and check in to cabins
3:30 - 5:45 p.m. – Introduction, tour and plant meditation
6 p.m. – Appetizers and cocktails on the lawn
7 p.m. Dinner

Saturday
8 a.m.  Breakfast
9 -11:45 a.m. – Deepening your journey workshop Part I
12 - 1 p.m. – Lunch (bring your own)
1 - 5 p.m. – Deepening your journey workshop Part II
5 - 6 p.m. – Relax and down time
6 p.m. – Appetizers and cocktails on the lawn
7 p.m. – Dinner
Evening circle – Plant storytelling and music

Sunday
8:30 a.m.  Breakfast
9:30 -11:00 a.m. – Workshop closure
12 p.m. – Check out of cabins
Feel free to bring a lunch to enjoy on the grounds and wander around Oak Creek for the afternoon.

$250 early bird by May 1st or $295
Workshop only (not including meals and lodging at Orchard Canyon Lodge)

Lodging and Meals

Participants are welcome to reserve a cabin at Orchard Canyon. This includes a hearty, cooked to order breakfast, afternoon tea, and an elegant, four-course dinner sourced from our garden and orchard. To learn more about cabin rates and availability click here.

Participants may make reservations to enjoy breakfast and dinner at Orchard Canyon during the retreat, while staying offsite. Dinner is $60 and breakfast is $20. To see sample menus click here. Make your meal reservations when you book the workshop.
