While we search for our “Dream Farm,” Agave Maria Botanicals is facing the reality shared with many other farmers—arable land with water in Northern Arizona is not readily available or affordable.  We are fortunate to grow our flowers at Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek, a dreamy place in one of the most magical landscapes in the world, Sedona, Arizona. Orchard Canyon (formerly Garland’s Lodge,) is a farm-to-table restaurant, lodge and wedding venue. The garden is in the midst of a historic homestead and heirloom apple orchard, on a ten-acre botanical oasis with perennial and ornamental gardens.

We grow about 100 unique varieties of flowers in between the vegetables and herbs in the quarter acre garden to increase the beauty and joy for the guests, as well as attracting pollinators and other beneficial insects into the ecological system that is recreated each year, nestled within a larger one in the riparian area of Oak Creek and Coconino National Forest.

The lodge serves the flowers at dinner, they inspire seasonal botanical cocktails, they decorate the dining room tables and cabins for special occasions. We are happy to be partnering with Orchard Canyon to use the flowers for our floral designs, medicinals and host garden-based workshops in this bountiful, serene place. Come and see it for yourself. The grounds are open to the public and the restaurant serves breakfast and a four-course dinner six days a week.
